The petitioner is before this Court on appeal from the denial of his petition for relief under Post-Conviction Relief, Rule 1. The petitioner had previously entered a guilty plea to two counts of first-degree murder and one count of rape and was sentenced to two terms of life imprisonment for the murders and to twenty-one years for the rape. His petition now raises the following issues: 1. Whether the court erred in denying his motion for change of Judge at the post-conviction relief hearing; 2. Whether the petitioner was denied the effective assistance of counsel; 3. Whether the plea of guilty was knowingly, intelligently and voluntarily entered; and 4. Whether the motion for change of venue was properly granted at the time of the original guilty plea.
